A thoughtful process, shaped around your story.

Every project begins with a conversation and unfolds in considered stages. We take on only a small number of projects at any time, so each receives our full attention. Whether it is a single statement piece, a room redecoration, or an entire home renovation, our work brings clarity, craft and calm to the making of an expressive home.

What We Offer

Interior Design

Our core capability is envisioning and creating complete, comfortable homes that feel layered and full of atmosphere.

To do this, we emphasise the concept stage: understanding the building, your tastes, and finding a unique story and mood to capture. Everything else follows, from accurate functional plans to sourcing and installation.

Throughout, we prioritise crafted finishes, vintage and antique pieces, and custom work. We will travel and meet makers to find the right things for you. These details make a home personal, timeless, and impossible to replicate.

The result is a cohesive home that lets creativity play its part, arrived at through an authored path.

Ideal for:

  • Period home renovations
  • Reconfigurations, extensions or new builds
  • Projects involving plumbing, rewiring or custom joinery
  • Clients who value craft and provenance, and seek a partner to hold the vision throughout

How we price:
Every project begins with a Concept at €600 +VAT.
Then,  fees are set per room and per stage, so work can continue, pause and grow at a pace that suits you. Please see below for our step by step process.

Art and Statement Piece Sourcing

Occasionally a client comes to us not for imagining a whole space but for the artwork that will anchor a wall, or the furniture that a space has been waiting for.

Through this service, we help you determine the direction, search and select the right pieces, and complete your space in a thoughtful and composed manner.

Ideal for:

  • Decoration and styling projects
  • Refreshing an existing space
  • Cohesive furniture sourcing
  • Significant vintage or antique pieces
  • Art advice and curation
  • Gallery wall creation

Pricing:

We start with curation advice. We view your space, get dimensions, understand your desired feel, share examples and determine a direction that is cohesive and intentional:

  • Single statement piece: €300 + VAT
  • Selection of 2–3 pieces: €450 + VAT
  • Selection of 4–5 pieces: €600 + VAT

With a procurement deposit, we supply the right pieces inclusive of freight, receiving and handling. Any unspent deposit is reconciled at the end.

Our Principles

Finding a spark of romance

In a hurried world, we create textured spaces with depth and feeling. We prioritise custom-made craft and one-off items. Through tactile details, natural materials and effortless layouts, a well-considered home becomes a refuge that inspires creativity, nurtures connection, and brings comfort into daily life.

Sharing your story

Every project centres on the character of the home and the lifestyle of its occupants. We meet you and understand your tastes, interests and lifestyle. We approach design like painting a portrait: layering details with atmosphere and memory to create storied spaces where beauty, function, and soul coexist seamlessly.

Obsessive sourcing

We carefully curate pieces from makers and collectors across Europe. Unconstrained by single suppliers, we prioritise unexpected materials, vintage fittings, and one-of-a-kind artworks. For us, these details make homes truly personal and timeless.

Interior Design Stages

Stage 1 · Concept Creation

Concept Creation

Every project begins here, and concepting starts before we visit you. We analyse your lifestyle, review plans, speak with existing consultants, and research the house: period, proportions, orientation, neighbourhood and planning considerations.

We always visit your space and the visit itself is unhurried. We sit, watch how the light falls, and learn how you live: what frustrates you, what you love, what you’ve been putting off.

From this we produce a written and illustrated concept: a qualitative brief, mood board and sketches capturing the story of the house and the direction we believe it should take. Think of it as the life-drawing session before the portrait begins.

€600 +VAT · Flat fee

Site Measurement

Where accurate surveyor or architect drawings are not available, we measure and draw the space. Please note that estate-agent plans are not precise enough for design work. Accurate measurements are essential for scale drawings, custom work, furniture selection and quantifying materials; the project cannot proceed without them.

€100 +VAT · Per room

Stage 2 · Design Development

Spatial Planning

We work on the structural composition: furniture layouts, joinery type and placement, walls and openings, electrical and plumbing positions. Every decision is based on the way your family moves through the house, and the volumes direct the mood that we’re aiming to create.

If building, this is best done before applying for planning permission in collaboration with your architect, engineer and/or conservation officer.

You receive 2D floor plans, 2D elevations, a lighting and plumbing plan, and black-and-white 3D sketches.

Building projects: €1,800 +VAT First three rooms · €1,080 +VAT Per additional room

Decoration only: €500 +VAT First three rooms · €300 +VAT Per additional room

Decorative Planning

The heart of the aesthetic work, where we push the concept and its desired atmosphere further. We find harmony, explore materials, test colour relationships and craft the look of each room.

If building, decorative material choices impact structural methods, so this phase is best done in conjunction with spatial planning.

You receive coloured 2D floor plans and 2D elevations, coloured 3D sketches and an initial finishes sample set.

Building projects: €1,125 +VAT First three rooms · €675 +VAT Per additional room

Decoration only: €600 +VAT First three rooms · €360 +VAT Per additional room

Stage 3 · Detailing, Specification & Sourcing

Specification and Sourcing

This is where the vision becomes real: the scheme is resolved into the actual, named things you will live with. At the end of this stage every decision is made and every item sourced: nothing left to chance, nothing left for you to figure out.

Every hinge, handle, and their exact location is accounted for. Surfaces are specified to the precise colour reference, fabric code, tile layout and trim finish – along with their required amounts. Every piece of furniture and equipment is identified to supplier, model, size and installation method.

You receive final samples and a complete specification package, ready for implementation.

This stage fully informs scheduling and budget estimates so it is best done before construction tendering or quoting for decorative trades.

We work within your interiors budget, estimating the cost of every specified item so the whole picture is visible before purchasing begins.

Building projects: €1,800 +VAT First three rooms · €1,080 +VAT Per additional room

Decoration only: €600 +VAT First three rooms · €360 +VAT Per additional room

Detailing

For completely bespoke furniture and joinery, we detail the design with technical drawings and material selections, and work directly with the maker so that their craft and expertise aligns with the vision and design intent. Re-upholstery, recovering and window dressing are included in the default specifications above.

Simple custom piece: €600 +VAT · Per piece

Sofas, armchairs, banquettes, wardrobes, beds, fireplaces, kitchen island.

Complex custom piece: €900 +VAT · Per piece

Full kitchen runs, bars, bathroom furniture, staircases, internal doors, windows.

Stage 4 · Procurement & Budget Management

Procurement and Budget Management

Each piece has been chosen in relation to the others, and the cohesion of your finished home depends on it being realised as a whole.

With a procurement deposit, we purchase every specified item on your behalf: visiting shops, attending fairs, customising orders, coordinating deliveries, tracking lead times, managing damages and returns, arranging storage, and maintaining a live budget tracker throughout. If specified items are out of stock or one-off pieces are no longer available, we re-specify the item with an alternative that continues to suit the scheme.

Furnishings are supplied inclusive of procurement, freight, receiving and handling. Any unspent deposit is reconciled at the end.

Stage 5 · Install Coordination

Install Coordination

Once the installation begins, our responsibility is to hold the design vision.

Please note that we do not provide construction project management services. During a build, we provide site visits and contractor liaison on interior-related matters, reasonable design iterations as real conditions emerge, and snagging inspections in collaboration with your builder and architect.

For decoration projects, we can prepare a schedule of works, recommend trusted trades, and review incoming quotes against the design intent. We monitor the work and at the end conduct a thorough inspection against every specified finish and detail.

€150/h +VAT

Stage 6 · Styling, Handover & Optional Photography

Styling and Photography

The final visible layer, and the one that makes our initial concept come to life. We arrive on site to deliver furniture, arrange objects, and finish the home at the detail level: the placement of armchairs, the angle of a lamp, the distance between objects on a shelf. Candles are lit, music is playing, and your favourite cocktail is waiting.

€750/day +VAT

Photography is our own investment, commissioned for our portfolio with your approval at no cost to you.

Project Handover

A home designed to last deserves a record that lasts with it. We compile a complete project file: every paint reference and fabric code, every supplier contact, care instructions for natural stone and specialist finishes, warranty details for custom pieces, and a schedule of artwork and antiques with provenance where available.

This is the file you will reach for years from now, when a curtain lining needs replacing, walls repainting, or you simply want to know who made the table. One copy printed and bound; one digital.
